Greetings. I’m Julius (Jay) Mutunkei, alias Jayweb3 and I’m a seasoned crypto journalist with over ten years of experience immersed in fintech, NFTs and Web3 trends. I specialize in building narratives around emerging crypto projects, tracking their journey from inception to success. Currently, I contribute my insights and analysis to crypto.news as a freelancer. Over the years, my work has been featured in several reputable publications, including Hackernoon, dissecting complex crypto concepts and delivering them in a palatable form to a broad audience. Due to personal and business interests, I spend a lot of time shuttling between Nairobi, Kenya, and the UK. Additionally, my work reporting on Web3 has given me a global perspective, allowing me the privilege to explore different cultures and their unique approaches to technology and finance. When I’m not writing about the various aspects of Web3, I dabble in a bit of poetry, watch movies, and play a fair amount of video games. I also enjoy playing and watching football, or soccer, as my friends across the pond prefer to call it.
